Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Inland Valley and Rancho Springs facilities in Murrieta, CA. The role provides direct patient care in the PACU, assists with monitoring, safety, and recovery, and supports the surgical team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will document care in the electronic medical record, report changes in patient condition, and help transport patients.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certificate or California EMT with BLS through AHA.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Six months’ EMT/CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and essential clinical support to the PACU team.
• Monitor vital signs and observe cardiac rhythms.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and report changes in patient condition.
• Support patient transport, safety, and comfort during recovery.
