Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest in Seattle seeks a Nurse Manager for the PACU within Surgical Services. You will lead pre- and post-anesthesia care, with 24-hour accountability for operations, patient care, staff management and regulatory compliance.

The role oversees 45+ employees, including three Assistant Nurse Managers and a Clinical Nurse Educator. You will drive quality improvement, budgeting, and safe patient flow across the perioperative continuum.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license is required (or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, with three years in acute care surgical services.
• Previous leadership experience (e.g., Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, or equivalent).
• ACLS certification required.
