Job summary

Pacific Northwest Fertility (PNWF) in Bellevue seeks a full-time, experienced RN to lead the PACU team. This hands-on supervisory role combines patient care with operational leadership across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op functions.

The ideal candidate has PACU or perioperative RN experience, strong leadership presence, and a commitment to patient-centered surgical care. On-site role with collaboration across physicians and anesthesia teams.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience in ICU/ER with PACU/perioperative exposure.
• BLS certification; ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong assessment, IV therapy, and patient monitoring skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork across departments.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care in the PACU after fertility-related procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and informed consent verification.
• Monitor recovery, manage pain/nausea, and determine discharge readiness.
• Supervise PACU nursing staff and clinical support, with scheduling duties.
• Lead staff training, onboarding, and ongoing education.
• Collaborate with physicians and anesthesia teams for patient safety.
• Lead QA, accreditation prep, and regulatory compliance efforts.
