Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within Surgical Services at UW Medical Center-Northwest in Seattle. This leadership role has 24-hour accountability for clinical operations, patient care delivery, staff management, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and patient experience.

You will oversee pre-anesthesia preparation and Phase I and II recovery, ensure safe patient flow, and drive continuous quality

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license (or ability to obtain).
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience with three in acute care surgical services.
• Previous leadership experience (Assistant Nurse Manager or equivalent).
• ACLS certification required.
