Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Manager of PACU to lead patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-Op Holding Area and related perioperative spaces. You will ensure safe staffing, develop unit standards, mentor staff, and coordinate with anesthesia, surgery and nursing leadership to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

This leadership role requires California RN licensure, Basic Arrhythmia knowledge, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and a minimum of three years in

Qualifications

California RN license required.
Basic Arrhythmia knowledge required.
BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Three years in PACU or Critical Care, plus one year in management.
Excellent computer skills and teaching/coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate PACU patient care with safe staffing and delegated assignments.
Interface daily with ancillary departments to identify and solve patient issues.
Be medically responsible to the Department of Anesthesia and report to the Director of Perioperative Services.
