Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest invites applications for a Nurse Manager in the Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within Surgical Services. The role partners with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care.

The Nurse Manager has 24-hour accountability for clinical operations, patient care delivery, staff management, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license or ability to obtain.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum five (5) years nursing experience, with three (3) years of acute care clinical experience in surgical services.
• Previous leadership experience (Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, or equivalent).
• Will be required to obtain and maintain ACLS certification.
