Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate postoperative care across the pediatric to geriatric population. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Minimum one year of post-anesthesia care nursing or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Current Washington State nursing license; BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care in the PACU.
• Promotes continuity of care and provides direct patient care.
• Participates in patient and family teaching; adheres to department policies; maintains professional standards.
• Shifts vary to meet patient and department needs; on-call responsibilities.
