Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to care for patients immediately after surgery. You will monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status, manage wound care, and ensure stability during recovery. Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams and be available for on-call hours as discussed.

You will deliver evidence-based care, apply nursing processes, document changes, and educate patients and families about treatment and follow-up measures.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and eligible for employment.
• ACLS and BLS required within 30 days of start date.
• PALS required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-operative care.
• Monitor airway, neurological, and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Educate patients and families about condition and follow-up.
