Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to manage immediate post-operative care for surgical patients in the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center. You will monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, provide wound care, and support the anesthesia team.

On-call duties apply during select non-business hours. Requirements include an active RN license, ACLS/BLS, and at least 1 year of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (RN) in good standing
• ACLS & BLS certifications within specified timelines
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (ICU/ER/PACU)
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in nursing or RN diploma

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-operative care in PACU, monitor airway, neuro, and cardiac status
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Provide wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery
• Respond promptly to complications and communicate changes
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up
