Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Evanston for a part-time role with early morning shifts (5a–11a, M-W-F) and occasional call requirements. You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care on a dedicated unit, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while engaging patients and families in the care plan.

Active IL RN license with CPR BLS is required; ACLS/PALS and CPAN/CAPA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License.
• 1 year experience in comparable role, PACU/ ICU/ Behavioral Health preferred.
• CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
