Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Evanston for a part-time role with 5p to 11a shifts on Mon-Wed-Fri, including call requirements. The RN will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, collaborate with the health care team, and participate in perioperative and anesthesia patient care.

State RN license and ACS/CPR certifications are required or preferred. The position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for professional growth within the unit, along with benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• IL RN License required.
• 1 year experience in comparable role (PACU/ICU/Behavioral Health preferred).
• CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Involves patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Perioperative care of patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
• Phase 1 & 2 care of peri anesthesia patients from the Operating Rooms and supporting procedure areas.
