Qualifications

• Knowledge of scheduling and patient access processes.
• Ability to coordinate appointments to minimize patient trips and visits.
• Familiarity with VA processes and Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and manage Electronic Waiting List accurately and timely.
• Assist with clinic access contingency planning and patient reallocation as needed.
• Provide pre-appointment instructions and materials to patients.
• Participate in daily huddles, treatment team meetings and staff meetings to resolve patient flow issues.
• Review active/pending consults, unverified orders, recall lists to ensure accuracy and disposition.
• Address issues to prevent dissatisfaction with VA services.
