The Cincinnati VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time physician to serve as Medical Director for the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) within Primary Care. The role reports to the Primary Care Chief of Staff with 80% clinical time and 20% administrative duties.

Qualifications include MD degree from an approved school, current unrestricted US license, and completion of an ACGME/AOA residency or equivalent. Board certification/eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or eligible status for appointment.
• MD degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States or D.C.
• Completion of approved residency training (ACGME/AOA) or equivalent.
• Board eligibility/certification preferred in Family or Internal Medicine.

Responsabilités

• Eighty percent (80%) time dedicated to Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) clinical duties.
• Twenty percent (20%) time devoted to administrative responsibilities as Medical Director.
• Participate in educational programs for service personnel and medical staff.
• Monitor quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care in Primary Care.
• Attend Primary Care Service management and COS meetings as required.
• Complete medical records per bylaws and rules.
