Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Hamilton, OH seeks a Physician to join a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) providing direct primary care to Veterans. The role encompasses clinical exams, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include documentation, referrals to specialists, and monitoring team performance to meet VA standards. Teaching and administrative duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or eligible per VA policy.
• Doctor of medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in US.
• Completed residency in an approved core specialty.
• English speaking and writing proficiency.
• Preferred: Primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment for primary care patients.
• Document patient care in clinical records.
• Refer to specialists when needed.
• Monitor PACT teamlet performance and VA standards adherence.
• Lead patient advocacy interactions and resolve inquiries.
• Participate in teaching and educational activities as assigned.
