Job summary

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center, part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, is recruiting a full-time physician to serve as the PACT Medical Director with 80% clinical time and 20% administrative time.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required; non-citizens only as permitted by VA policy.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school; current full/unrestricted US medical license.
• Board certification/eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine preferred; ACLS desirable.

Responsibilities

• 80% clinical time and 20% administrative time as PACT Medical Director.
• Participate in educational programs for service personnel and medical staff.
• Monitor quality, safety, and appropriateness of care in Primary Care.
• Attend Primary Care Service management and COS meetings as per bylaws.
• Complete medical records in accordance with bylaws and Rules.
