Advocate Health is seeking a skilled PACS Administrator to manage daily PACS operations, including data transfer, archiving, and system upgrades. The role requires strong imaging technology knowledge and collaboration with medical staff and IS.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years in imaging services or PACS administration and an associate degree in radiologic technology. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in imaging services, PACS administration or related imaging technology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to work across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the daily operations of PACS equipment including data transfer, validation, archiving, auto-routing, and related activities.
• Plans and coordinates all technical aspects of the PACS network and equipment; communicates changes to Medical Staff and staff.
• Responds to system inquiries, troubleshoots problems, and notifies users of downtime or upgrades.
• Develops and implements training programs for staff using PACS and related applications.
• Works with IS to ensure security, backup, and recovery procedures and controls access to PACS.
