Job summary

Northwell Health in Melville, NY is seeking a highly motivated PACS Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize our PACS and related imaging applications. You will work with radiologists, technologists, and IT staff to ensure reliable imaging workflows, assess performance, and participate in system upgrades and testing.

The role requires strong clinical workflow understanding, IT expertise, and experience with DICOM/HL7/XDS interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Direct PACS/radiology IT support experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiology workflows and imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level PACS and imaging system support to radiologists and clinical staff.
• Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and data integrity checks.
• Configure PACS and imaging apps to optimize clinical workflows.
• Test system upgrades, patches, and integrations (UAT/functional testing).
• Assist with interface testing and data exchange via HL7, DICOM, and XDS.
• Document configurations and train end-users on system functionalities.
