Job summary

University of Utah Health is seeking an Application Systems Analyst II for Enterprise Imaging. You will support clinical applications, interface hospital systems, and drive the build/test lifecycle for imaging workflows including PACS, RIS, and VNA integrations.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7 messaging, and modern imaging standards, plus experience with AI tools and cloud-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as required.
• Experience with enterprise imaging systems preferred.
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, VNA, and voice recognition platforms.
• Knowledge of DICOM, HL7 messaging, and RESTful imaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Participates in meetings to discuss team and project activities, issues, changes, communications, and updates.
• Performs system builds and testing for software lifecycle activities; ensures quality outcomes.
• Resolves incidents and work orders per SLA and timelines; completes tasks with quality outcomes.
• Maintains and creates documentation as needed.
• Acts as a resource to end users regarding application utilization in workflow context.
• Executes and updates test scripts for unit, application, and integrated testing.
• Collaborates with training staff to guide build and implementation of training materials.
• Researches and analyzes new feature requests; participates in stakeholder review and documentation.
