Job summary

University of Utah Health is seeking a PACS Admin/Application Systems Analyst to support Enterprise Imaging, PACS upgrades, and integration of imaging modalities within EHR systems. The role focuses on configuring radiology imaging workflows, building system tests, and coordinating with trainers to optimize system use.

Ideal candidates will have experience with DICOM, HL7, and FHIR, plus knowledge of cloud architectures and scripting for automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or clinical discipline, or equivalent.
Experience with enterprise imaging and PACS upgrades.
Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and FHIR protocols and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

Participates in meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.
Performs system builds and testing for software lifecycle activities. Ensures quality outcomes and assesses integrated impact.
Resolves incidents and work orders according to SLAs and timelines; completes tasks with quality outcomes.
Maintains and creates documentation as needed.
Acts as a resource to end users and team members on application utilization within workflow.
Executes and updates test scripts for unit, application and integrated testing.
Guides training staff to build and implement training tips and lesson plans.
Researches and analyzes new feature requests; participates in stakeholder review and documentation.
