Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven grammar, spelling and punctuation for typing patient information.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (EPIC) and imaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills imaging records requests for patients, external facilities, and HIM Legal desk.
• Prepares imaging records for pickup, mail, electronic transfer, and faxes reports per policy AD-127.
• Pushes and receives images electronically to/from external facilities via PACS.
• Enters Release into Epic for patient and continuation of care images and/or report requests.
• Loads images from CDs and digitizes analog film into the TEC patient record in PACS.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and assists radiology staff as needed.
