Job summary

Optum is seeking an Imaging Library Assistant in Everett to maintain imaging records for clinic patients and manage requests from internal and external facilities. The role supports the Radiology Department by handling PACS uploads, Epic data entry, and documentation of imaging transactions while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Proven grammar, spelling and punctuation for typing patient information.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain efficient workflow in Data Management areas of Radiology.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and the public, with strong customer service.
• Experience with general computer use and Radiology Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills imaging records requests for patients, external facilities, and HIM Legal desk.
• Prepares imaging records for pickup, outgoing mail, electronic transfer, and faxes reports per policy.
• Pushes and receives images electronically to/from external facilities via PACS.
• Enters Release into Epic for patient and continuation of care images and report requests.
• Loads images from CDs and digitizes analog film for patient records in PACS.
