Job summary

Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated is seeking a PACS Administrator to oversee the PACS system, provide initial and ongoing training, manage user accounts and privileges, and ensure patient record integrity. The role includes monitoring system performance and performing basic troubleshooting for day-to-day users.

Shift: 1 day per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with call every other week. Associate degree in relevant fields and 3 years' experience preferred.

• Three years experience in the radiology field or information systems.
• Documented skills in system network technologies.
• Demonstrated understanding of Radiology work flow patterns.

Requirements

• Three years experience in the radiology field or information systems.

• Demonstrated understanding of Radiology work flow patterns.
• Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff including physicians.
• Must be of reasonable physical ability as the position will require walking throughout the hospital, sitting or standing for periods of time and moving and lifting computer equipment and monitors on occasion.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
