Job summary

ICFAI is seeking a PACS System Manager responsible for the overall administration of the PACS environment, including user access management, patient record handling, and ongoing training for staff.

The role requires coordinating with radiology and IT teams to monitor performance, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, and ensure workflows run efficiently and securely within the hospital setting. The position is on-site with a 1 day per week shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and bi-weekly calls.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Three years experience in radiology or information systems.
• Documented skills in system network technologies.
• Understanding of Radiology workflows.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff including physicians.
• Physical ability to walk hospital corridors, sit/stand for long periods, and move/lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management of the PACS system, including training, account and privileges management for various user levels, and management of patient records.
• Monitor system performance and perform basic troubleshooting for day-to-day users.
• Coordinate with clinical and IT staff to ensure smooth PACS operations and compliance.

Shift: 1 day per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, call every other week

Requirements

• Associate Degree in information systems technologies or Radiologic Sciences.
• Three years experience in the radiology field or information systems.
• Documented skills in system network technologies.
• Demonstrated understanding of Radiology work flow patterns.
• Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff including physicians.
• Must be of reasonable physical ability as the position will require walking throughout the hospital, sitting or standing for periods of time and moving and lifting computer equipment and monitors on occasion.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
