Blount Fine Foods, a family-owned leader in premium prepared foods, is seeking a full-time third shift packaging associate in McKinney, TX. You will handle, label, and package finished products and help maintain GMP and HACCP standards.

This role offers pay of $15.00-$15.38/hour, with benefits including medical, dental and vision, 401k with company match, paid time off, education assistance, life insurance and short-term disability, and product discounts. Weekend work may be required.

• Operate, adjust, break down and reassemble job-specific processing/packaging equipment.
• Update supervisor on hindrances and notify issues promptly.

The pay range for this opportunity is $15.00-15.38/hour.

THIS POSITION IS THIRD SHIFT 10PM-630AM M-F with an additional shift differential of $3.00 an hour for third shift.

Please be advised that weekend work may be required based on operational needs. This is a full-time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities for Food Safety

• Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
• Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies.
• Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
• Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
• If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

Positional accountabilities

• 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
• Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
• Update Lead or Supervisor on any hindrances to successfully performing your position.
• Immediately notify your supervisor of any recognized issues/failures while performing your position.
