Job summary

Blount Fine Foods, a family-owned manufacturer of premium fresh prepared foods in Fall River, MA, is seeking a supervisor to lead the Bulk/Retail Pack Out department on the 3rd shift. You will guide the team, ensure accurate and efficient packaging, and verify HACCP and GMP guidelines.

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bulk/Retail Pack Out team to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of Division 3 Bulk/Retail products.
• Oversee continuous operation of departmental processing equipment.
• Verify HACCP and GMP guidelines are followed and product integrity is maintained throughout the Pack Out process.
• Direct multiple staff to handle varying production flows within the Pack Out Department.
• Learn, modify and adjust departmental equipment as needed.
• Lead, mentor, and foster a positive work environment.

This position is 3rd shiftThe pay range for this position is $27.00/HR to $27.68/HR.

Summary

Responsible for leading the Bulk/Retail Pack out department in the efficient and accurate processing of Division 3 Bulk/Retail Product.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for guiding, training, and leading their team to ensure the accurate and efficient packaging of Division 3 Bulk/Retail products.
• Responsible for the continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
• Verify HACCP and internal GMP guidelines are followed as well as the integrity of all products throughout the Pack out Process.
• Directs multiple staff to handle varying production flows of Bulk/Retail products within the Pack Out Department.
• Ability to learn, modify and make adjustments to departmental equipment.
• Ability to lead, be a teacher, and create a positive work environment.

Education and/or Experience
