Job summary

H2ajobs in Arkansas is seeking workers to operate grain conditioning equipment, load grain for shipments, and maintain safety and cleanliness on site. Housing and meals are provided. A 3-month track record is required, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a drug test.

You must be able to lift 75 lbs and work as part of a team. Workers will assist with wildlife habitat management on the farm, including wetlands and ponds, and must be able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed.
• Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record.
• Be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Drug test may be required at no cost to the worker and you must comply with the employer's drug-free and alcohol-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

Job description

Operate and monitor grain conditioning equipment to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning conditioning equipment, storage areas, and surrounding facilities. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Load semi and deliver grain to ports and terminals. Operate fans and other equipment to condition grain and control moisture levels. Assist in the management and preservation of wildlife habitat on the farm during the migration of waterfowl and deer such as: maintaining wire; removing debris; servicing wetlands; controlling weed pressure; inspect and record wildlife population; maintain adequate levels in ponds and wetland reserve program; Perform manual labor necessary to develop, maintain, or protect areas such as forested areas, woodlands, wetlands. Must be able to speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
