Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Packer Operator on 1st shift at the Kansas City, KS facility. You will operate packaging machinery, monitor lines for quality, and support continuous production flow in a highly automated meat processing environment.

Candidates must have at least 3 months of machine or packer operator experience and at least 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold conditions are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of machine / packer operator experience or equivalent.
• 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery to maintain continuous product flow.
• Perform accurate packaging checks and quality assurance.
• Safely resolve line jams and equipment malfunctions.
• Monitor ingredients/supplies and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Notify supervisor for maintenance needs while keeping a clean, safe work area.
