Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Kansas City, KS is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift. This highly automated meat processing/packaging facility relies on you to run machinery, monitor lines, load ingredients, and keep the line running safely and efficiently.

You will work in a cold environment, perform basic maintenance, address jams and errors, and cooperate with supervision to ensure product quality and compliance with Tyson policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months of machine or packer operator experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production line.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Applicants may be considered for Raw or RTE production areas.
