Tyson Foods is hiring for a Machine Operator at the Kansas City, KS facility. The role involves operating highly automated meat processing/packaging equipment to ensure continuous production and accurate ingredient use.

You will monitor and adjust machine settings, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and communicate with supervisors regarding maintenance needs. Prior forklift experience is a plus, and you may work in Raw or RTE production areas as needed.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 months of machine or packer operator experience
• Minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years
• Able to work in a cold/damp environment and in a fast-paced setting.

Mansioni

• Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product on the production line
• Adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if maintenance is required
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow Tyson policies
• Open and close work orders in the MES system and monitor system alerts
• Operate forklifts and address system-based error messages
• Handle jams and equipment malfunctions promptly
