Job Description:

Packages Injection products manually, operates auxiliary equipment, and performs quality functions to ensure products meet quality criteria. Follows all work processes, safety, and company guidelines as outlined in the Cambro employee handbook.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Ensures quality standards are maintained in handling, packaging, and finishing of all products.
  2. Complies with safety, operating policies, procedures regarding equipment, materials, and finished goods.
  3. Operates auxiliary equipment such as Hot stamp, Milling, Router, Sonic welder, Glue gun, Band Saw, and Spin welder.
  4. Performs multi-task jobs including Shrink wrap, Wine Buckets, DSPR6, and multiple machines.
  5. Ensures correct quantity of product per carton and proper packaging requirements are followed.
  6. Labels cartons, W.I.P., or products accurately, verifying box and UPC label accuracy.
  7. Inspects products at each step for quality defects and performs necessary rework.
  8. Maintains a clean and organized workstation, adhering to housekeeping and safety guidelines.
  9. Recognizes and reports problems or discrepancies to the Process Technician and/or Supervisor.
  10. Reads and understands instructions for assembly, packaging, and secondary machinery operation.
  11. Fills out and maintains production-related forms.
  12. Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
  13. Maintains reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
  14. Follows all safety procedures, wears PPE, attends safety meetings, reports hazards.
  15. Works effectively as part of a team, communicates well, and respects others.
  16. Owns and takes responsibility for own work and behavior.
  17. Follows department quality standards and raises concerns when necessary.
  18. Understands and demonstrates Cambro’s company culture and core values.
  19. Contributes to achieving key performance indicators.
  20. Performs other duties as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
  • Works overtime and remains flexible to schedule changes.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, or up to six months related experience, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • English language skills preferred.
Physical Demands:

Includes sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, twisting, repetitive hand use, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working around equipment and machinery, among others.

PPE Requirements:
  • Safety glasses, utility gloves, steel-toe shoes, hardhat, hearing protection, face shields, masks.
Compensation Range:

$17.06 per hour. Salary may vary based on experience.
