Location: Springfield, Missouri

Schedule: 7:45pm to 8:00am, Rotation Schedule

Compensation: Starting at $17.50/hr, with a $1000 sign-on bonus

Who We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking a Packaging Operator I responsible for maintaining product quality during manufacturing and packaging of HDPE pipes. Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Lead, the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and check product during manufacturing to meet order requirements.
2. Check print and footage markings; make corrections as needed.
3. Monitor for continuous stripe, if required.
4. Understand quality requirements for all products.
5. Make necessary corrections and inform supervisor before adjustments.
6. Build reels to size specifications using reel components.
7. Place reels onto coiler, ensuring they are in good condition.
8. Ensure wraps are correct and neat, cut, tie-off, and cap conduits.
9. Use forklift to remove reels and transport finished products into inventory.
10. Manage scrap material and assist in line start-ups.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
12. Assist colleagues with conduit cutting, tie-offs, and reel changes.
13. Follow all safety protocols and complete necessary paperwork.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. 1-2 years of relevant experience.
3. Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately.
4. Forklift operation skills.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Good judgment and ability to work independently.
