Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Ashland, OH is seeking a Packer for the 1st shift to ensure products are accurately packed, inspected, palletized, and prepared for shipment. You will support packaging operations, quality checks and line readiness in a fast-paced facility.

You will prepare packaging, inspect code dates and labeling, operate pallet jacks, and participate in safety and sanitation practices. This role may require overtime to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons and trays for packaging by folding, taping, sorting, labeling, and assembling packaging materials.
• Verify packaging materials are properly prepared and available for production.
• Pack products into cartons, trays, and displays according to product specifications.
• Ensure products are packaged in the correct cases and labeled accurately.
• Tape and seal cartons when required.
• Conduct visual inspections of finished products and packaging, including bag registration and date codes.
• Remove products that do not meet quality standards and report concerns.
• Stack cartons and trays onto pallets and move finished products using pallet jacks.
• Follow safety, 5S, and sanitation policies and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with production line startups and line changeovers as needed.
