Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Packer for the 3rd shift in Ashland, OH. You will ensure finished goods are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment, contributing to quality and safety standards on a fast-paced line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in manufacturing or production. You will work with operators and supervisors, perform inspections, and participate in continuous improvement, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or one year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime and schedule changes as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons and trays for packaging by folding, taping, sorting, labeling, and assembling packaging materials.
• Verify packaging materials are properly prepared and available for production.
• Pack products into cartons, trays, and displays according to product specifications.
• Ensure products are packaged in the correct cases and labeled accurately.
• Tape and seal cartons when required.
• Conduct visual inspections of finished products and packaging, including bag registration, code dates, pricing, package seals, and case labeling.
• Remove products that do not meet quality standards and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Stack cartons and trays onto pallets using approved stacking patterns; use pallet jacks as needed.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and 5S standards; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with production line startups and changeovers; operate tray-making equipment when trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned and be prepared for mandatory overtime.
