Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Packer B to safely and efficiently package finished products and maintain a clean, organized work area. You will support overall production by following policies and ensuring quality during packaging operations.

The role requires good communication, dependable attendance, and the ability to handle non-standard hours. Prior packaging or manufacturing experience is preferred, and you will participate in safety training as part of your duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area per housekeeping standards.
• Perform inspections and monitor product quality to meet customer specs.
• Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation timely.
• Attend safety training and other required training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by designated personnel.

TITLE: Packer B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Safely and efficiently package finished products according to production and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area and supporting the overall productivity of the production team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED is preferred
• Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing environment with packaging is preferred
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations, whether written or communicated verbally
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with plant housekeeping standards
• Perform required inspections and monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met
• Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customers
• Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
• Attend and actively participate in required safety training and other training programs
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by designated personnel

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions
• Subject to elevated noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level.
• Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
