MITER Brands is hiring a Packer for the Millersburg, PA facility on a rotating 2 on/2 off night schedule from 7pm to 7am. The position starts at $21 per hour plus a $2 shift differential.

One year of packaging/manufacturing experience is required, with opportunities for cross training and career growth. We offer health and welfare benefits, tuition reimbursement, and a focus on safety and teamwork in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• One year of similar work experience in Packaging, Assembly, Manufacturing, and/or Warehouse.
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition/subtraction
• Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• The Packer Assembly Worker is responsible for a multitude of functions within their specific department.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.

Working in the warehouse does require prolonged standing, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling - as well as hand dexterity and strength. May be required to frequently lift up to 75 pounds. Work is performed in a warehouse facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
