Job summary

Val-Matic Valve & Mfg. Co. in Elmhurst, IL, is seeking a Packer to build SCV units and prepare packages for shipment, supporting manufacturing operations.

You will read job instructions, assemble per work orders, tag and label parts, ensure clean surfaces, and maintain a safe, organized work area while contributing to on-time delivery and product quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to be on feet for up to 8-12 hours per shift.
