Job summary

Highline Warren, LLC is seeking a Packaging Zone Leader to guide production members on high-speed packaging lines, maintain quality and documentation, and support supervisors as needed. Qualifications

• Experience in high speed packaging, or any satisfactory combination of education and experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing practices is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead production members on safe, high speed packaging lines.
• Perform process audits and inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and company standards.
• Work with the shift supervisor on prioritizing and implementing improvements to the packaging line.
• Develop and write standard operating procedures for the zone’s processes and procedures.
• Assist team members in solving problems and motivate the team to achieve goals.
• Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process.
• Ensure quality control testing and documentation are performed and nonconforming product is handled per policy.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas, machines and equipment.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity.
