Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. packaging trainee role is based in Boardman, OR and focuses on toteroom (addback) operations, reworking cased product, and handling off-line tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain safety, follow standard procedures, and communicate with line leads and drivers while supporting efficient production in a cold, high-noise setting. No two days are the same as you learn to operate addback equipment, record activity on logs, and assist with waste totes and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Not to exceed 11 working shifts in qualification period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work practices and participate in safety programs.
• Tote room operations including addback equipment and recording activity.
• Rework (strip out) of cased product into totes for lines.
• Handle overflow totes and waste totes; assist with cleanup.
• Communicate needs to hyster drivers and team leaders.
• Cleanup of packaging area and general sanitation.
