Job summary

Lamb Weston in Boardman, Oregon is seeking a qualified Operator Packaging Machine Trainee for Night A and Night B shifts to run and monitor packaging equipment, ensuring production needs and quality standards are met.

Under supervision of the team leader, you will perform routine adjustments, monitor line flow, document performance, and maintain safe, clean packaging areas while training on equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Ability to write simple forms in English.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment per production needs and quality standards.
• Monitor line-flow rates and ensure proper feed to baggers.
• Check bag weights and adjust to QA standards.
• Maintain sanitation of packaging area and cleanliness of equipment.
• Record packaging efficiencies and downtime in reports.
