Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Processing Operator Trainee in Boardman, Oregon. The role involves operating and adjusting processing equipment, monitoring lineflow and waste, and correcting issues affecting quality and costs.

You will work under the supervision of the production lead or team leader and participate in safety programs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write in English, and basic math and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English.
• Ability to effectively present or listen to information in one-on-one and small group situations with all other employees in English.
• Mathematical capacity to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe work practices at all times and participates in safety programs.
• Operates equipment and makes adjustments as needed.
• Monitors lineflow and waste; ensures product quality and production costs.
• Communicates line status, quality issues and other problems to team members.
• Shoveling product spills; completes production forms as required.
