Job summary

Mars is seeking a skilled Operator to manage equipment in the assigned area, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety standards. The role requires teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to train or assist others as needed.

Responsibilities include performing changeovers, conducting cleaning and inspections, and supporting TPM initiatives while maintaining 5S standards. A high school diploma and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 or High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associates degree, or higher, in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a food related manufacturing environment with automated processes, including PLC/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the assigned work area while ensuring quality, safety and performance standards.
• Fill out HACCP and related sheets correctly and follow escalation protocols.
• Participate in TPM teams and support 5S and lean initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized manufacturing area and ensure proper changeovers and safety practices.
