Job summary

Mars in Illinois is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support efficient production of quality products. You will operate/change over machinery, perform cleaning, inspections, and paperwork while upholding the Five Principles of Mars.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma (Associates preferred), and 2+ years in a food-related manufacturing environment with automated processes. Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 or High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associates degree, or higher, in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers as needed in assigned area.
• Conduct period deep cleanings and maintain supplies.
• Complete all paperwork and cleaning/inspection/lubrication tasks (CIL'S).
• Follow HACCP and other required sheets accurately.
• Actively participate in TPM teams and follow 5S standards.
