Job summary

Mars is seeking a production operator to support high-speed lines at our New York area facility. You will operate equipment, ensure quality and safety, and participate in TPM teams to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong math and communication skills, and 2+ years in food manufacturing with automated processes; preferred an associate degree in engineering or manufacturing. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 or High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate degree, or higher, in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a food related manufacturing environment with automated processes, including PLC/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the assigned work area while ensuring quality, safety and performance standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team leader and peers and follow escalation protocol.
• Complete HACCP and military sheets correctly and maintain 5S standards.
• Participate in TPM teams and support a safe working environment.
• Assist with changeovers, cleanouts, and equipment lubrication as required.
