Responsibilities

• Verify customer requirements by reviewing the Setup.
• Identify exception codes and use the proper packing supplies.
• Print labels at the Packaging Station and verify roll data for each finished roll on conveyors.
• Demonstrate basic troubleshooting of conveying systems.
• Operate the packaging crane safely and in a controlled manner.
• Enter data into the computer at the Packing Station and Stretch-Wrapping Station.
• Demonstrate basics of and operate the Stretch-Wrapper in Automatic and Manual modes.
• Weigh finished pallets and apply labels verifying data.
• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe work environment.
• Interact with packers, production supervisor, lead technician, and slitting technicians as required.
• Operate a forklift and stack material using a forklift.
• Demonstrate ability to use the clamp truck.
• Assist in any function of the Slitting Department as requested by lead operator or supervisor.
