Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. seeks a skilled technician to operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery across multiple lines. You will start up lines, verify set points, run extrusion and injection equipment, and ensure quality and safety standards throughout shifts.

The role requires 1–3 years of packaging experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to maintain clean, safe work areas. Fork truck may be required; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with mechanical training in packaging/plastics.
• 1–3 years operating packaging/plastics machinery.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking; basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Start up production lines and verify set points each shift.
• Operate extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection mold and related equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and monitor machines; purge as needed.
• Inspect materials by part number before and during runs.
• Document issues and countermeasures; record production and quality data.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping; support training of Operators.
• Train Technician Operators and cover breaks as needed.
• Own food safety, food quality, and site safety responsibilities.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
