Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a production packer in Sparta, Tennessee for a 12-hour shift. The role involves safely operating packing equipment, assembling and labeling boxes, and preparing finished cartons for shipping.

Workers must inspect products for defects and maintain clean, efficient workflows on the line. Responsibilities include managing liners, stacking boxes on cooling and finished skids, and adhering to PPE and safety standards in a loud manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate machinery and equipment used in packing lines.
• Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
• Select appropriate box sizes and assemble boxes with tape as required.
• Align 6–9 boxes at the machine without blocking aisles or exits.
• Label completed boxes accurately and place them on cooling skids before final stacking.
• Inspect shipped boxes for visible defects and report any issues to supervision.
• Fold liners over products to prevent contamination and ensure proper sealing.
