Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is hiring for a packaging associate on a 12hr-B shift. You will safely operate packing machinery, select box sizes, label completed boxes, and ensure proper stacking and cooling processes on the production line.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate packing machinery and equipment.
• Use PPE properly at all times.
• Select appropriate box sizes and assemble boxes with tape gun.
• Align 6–9 boxes at the machine without blocking aisles.
• Determine if orders need caps; if so, fold liner and insert caps.
• Inspect finished boxes for defects and report any issues to supervisor.
• Fold liner over product after inspection to prevent contamination.
• Retrieve labels and apply them correctly to completed boxes.
• Place labeled boxes on cooling skids for about 60 minutes before stacking.
