Job summary

Altium Packaging, MT. Airy facility, is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate. You will package materials and finished products, load and move materials, and operate packaging equipment in a loud production environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring lines, clearing jams, inspecting bottles, labeling, and ensuring safety with PPE. Overtime may be required, and training is provided within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Package materials and finished products following specifications.
• Load, move materials and operate packaging equipment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear PPE.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Inspect bottles and perform bottle tests for quality.
• Escalate abnormalities and quality issues immediately.
• Manage labeling, bottle descriptions and packaging per customer requirements.
• Move finished goods to designated area and maintain workstation organization.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory to support shift transitions.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
