Job summary
Haleon is hiring a Packaging Technician I to operate manufacturing steps using proper equipment and SOPs. You will verify materials with SAP, prepare for upcoming orders, and help maintain packaging integrity with rigorous safety and GMP standards.
Qualifications include an associate degree in electronics, industrial mechanics, or instrumentation or a related field plus 1 year in manufacturing/packaging, or a BA with no experience.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, Instrumentation, or related field plus 1 year of manufacturing/packaging experience.
- Bachelor's degree with no experience also acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Request additional components or bulk as needed.
- Receive materials and verify with SAP.
- Coordinate materials for next order.
- Coordinate waste removal from the line.
- Perform operation, cleaning, setup, changeover, and minor repairs.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and packaging record reviews.
- Apply safety policies and GMP knowledge daily (LOTO, PPE, 5S).
- Perform daily safety inspections and room/equipment cleaning.
- Complete line clearances and setup certifications.
- Support preventive maintenance and material handling.
- Assist robustness improvements for packaging equipment reliability.
