Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Packaging Technician I to operate manufacturing steps, use proper equipment, and follow GMP and safety policies. This role involves packaging support, material coordination, and quality checks on the line.

Responsibilities include batch records verification, setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance. Ideal candidates hold relevant degrees with experience in PLC-equipped packaging equipment and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, Instrumentation or related field plus 1 year experience in manufacturing/packaging or as a mechanic with PLC experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with no experience; or 1 year of experience with PLC and computer-based packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Request additional components or bulk as needed.
• Receive materials and perform verification with SAP.
• Coordinate in advance required materials for next order.
• Coordinate waste removal from the line.
• Perform operation, cleaning, setup, changeover, adjustments, and minor repairs.
• Perform in-process quality checks and review inline packaging records.
• Apply safety policies and GMP knowledge in daily operations.
• Perform daily safety inspections (BASE).
• Perform cleaning of room, equipment and general area as per SOPs.
• Perform line clearances and setup certifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and materials handling.
• Verify packaging components and reconcile packaging materials.
